E-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) is a NHS England Programme working in partnership with the NHS and professional bodies to support patient care by providing e-learning to educate and train the health and social care workforce.

You can access the E-learning modules below, by clicking on the icon above each title. This will take you to a new page. The overview for each module will tell you which dental professionals should complete the module, then you should work your way through the recommended learning and reading listed under training.
Only do the learning required of you in your current role and the setting you are working in. After completing each module, you must complete the feedback and evaluation if available. This will provide confirmation that you have completed the training to the best of your abilities. You must also provide feedback if you wish to claim e-CPD. How to claim e-CPD is described in the E-LfH registration guidance above.
Overview
Our priority is the safety of your team and your patients. To support you, we have compiled a library of resources including e-learning, guidance and links relating to the delivery of dental care in primary care in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Working through the relevant elements will help you as a member of the dental team to provide safe and effective care for patients and keep you and your team safe. The aim is to encourage a consistent approach across primary care dentistry in the North West of England. You should complete the e-learning and review the suggested videos, links and documents in the modules below. You should also be up-to-date with the recommended learning and statutory and mandatory requirements of your current role and the setting you are working. The first stage in accessing training is to make sure you are registered on E-Learning for Healthcare.

Drug Prescribing
This section should be completed by dental professionals who will be prescribing or advising on analgesia or antimicrobial use. These resources aim to encourage a consistent approach to the management of acute dental problems, while recognising the challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic presents for provision of dental care. Guidance might change as new information becomes available.
