Carol McRae

I’ve worked in the NHS for over 28 years, starting in the acute sector before joining Primary Care as an IT manager/Office Manager in the early
part of 2004. From there I became a Practice Manager and worked in this role across 3 different practices for over 10 years, gaining experience
of managing a PMS, APMS and a GMS practice. Following on from my primary care roles I then moved to Wigan CCG as the assistant director
of primary care and then Manchester CCG as a contracts manager before eventually moving to GMTH where I now work as the GMTH
Strategic Business Manager.

Within my current role I support the Greater Manchester Training Hub to ensure we are kept abreast of national initiatives to enable the locality training hubs to be in a position to support any future initiatives that may be open to primary care and represent the organisation at strategic meetings across the health sector.
