Dr Jack Leach

I am general practice principal Edgworth medical practice in Bolton and I also work as salaried general practitioner in neighbouring Harwood general practice. Though starting and finishing as a general practitioner, in between I trained and worked in public health medicine followed by several years as a consultant and clinical director in substance misuse services. I have spent time as the medical director of Bolton community trust in the distant past. I have been involved in training health professionals in all three fields. From 2009 to 2019 I was the RCGP national coordinator for alcohol training and development. I live in Manchester and I can not quite the idea that I should be winding down to retirement. I am excited at the prospect of working with Greater Manchester Training hub to help develop primary care.
