Liam Jennion

At 17, I started my career as an apprentice administrator at Shakespeare Surgery in Wigan, despite originally planning to work in education. Working here, I became passionate about the NHS, specifically primary care, its patients and the future workforce. After completing my apprenticeship, I applied to work with the Wigan and Bolton Locality Training Hub so that I could help make a difference. I have worked at the GMTH since September 2018 and now split my time working for my locality hub (Wigan and Bolton) and regional hub (Greater Manchester). In my locality role I co-ordinate student placements and within my regional role I am responsible for all things IT, social media and communications. In my spare time, I help manage an online gaming community and play, watch and referee football.
