Liz Reilly

Liz is the Course Lead for the GPN Foundation and Fellowship courses and is a Registered Physiotherapist with extensive experience of working in the field of specialist rehabilitation prior to moving into Primary Care as an Advanced Practitioner (AP). Now, with over 12 years of experience as a ‘specialist generalist’, with a strong professional identity as an Advanced Practitioner, she has moved across into the training hub as a Clinical Educator and course lead for the GPN Programmes. Liz has both led on and collaborated with the delivery of several other educational programmes, including a 2-year programme to support trainee APs undergoing their Master’s in Advanced Practice and an FCP module at one of the NW HEIs.

As an Educator within Primary Care, Liz is passionate about empowering others to grow and develop and reach their full potential to effect positive change within the services that they deliver and improve patient experiences.

When she’s not working, she is usually out dancing Latin and Ballroom with her husband and friends, walking with her family, skiing, or travelling to new places to meet new people and learn new things.
