I am proof that you are never too old to face new challenges; I trained in nursing as a mature student completing my Dip He Adult Nurse, followed by training as a Community Specialist Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and undertaking my Independent Prescribing. I then worked for many years in Primary Care and community nursing teams, setting up and developing new services, embracing technology and agile working before moving to a career in Operational Management. During my time as an Operational Manager I stepped out of my comfort zone and became a Customer Engagement Manager for a range of clinical services this role taught me so much. After many years in Operational Management I returned for a short spell in urgent Care and frontline delivery. I have a keen interest in quality and governance and a real passion for developing people.
