Mary Cheshire

I am a GP with a salaried position in Rochdale; I am also a Clinical Fellow working with the HMR Primary Care Academy. In December 2020 I joined the GMTH to guide the Fellowship. From my perspective as a newly qualified doctor I aim to ensure the Fellowship meets the needs of new GPs. Medicine is my second career, I previously worked as a Solicitor with the Government Legal Service; however I couldn’t shake off a life-long ambition to become a doctor and enrolled on a Pre-med course at Manchester Medical School where I qualified in 2012.
