Becoming an Accredited Learning Environment
The first step to becoming an Accredited Learning Environment with GMTH is to arrange a discussion with the Clinical Educators/PEF Team within your chosen area. The contact details for these can be found at the bottom of this page. Once this discussion has been arranged, a visit to your social care environment will be planned, where an environmental audit and face-to-face discussion will take place. We will discuss what action-plan is required in order to achieve the opening of an effective learning environment for students. Please be assured, the GMTH team of Clinical Educators and Practice Education Facilitators are available to support and guide you into creating the placement area to best suit the needs of your organisation, and to further advise and support your staff in enabling them to upskill and develop as Practice Supervisors and Assessors.
